DeAnna Powell

About Me

I was born and raised in Miami, but now I reside in New York. I first became involved in acting in middle school and continued my involvement within the theatre realm throughout college. I minored in theatre at the University of Central Florida. After college, I was a member of the Front Yard theatre collective, where I wrote for and performed in a variety of interactive community theatre. Eventually, I moved to NYC where I continue my education and acting projects. Currently, I am a part of the Better On Paper Sketch Group as a writer and performer, and I hope to expand on my involvement in the film industry.
