DeAnna Powell is a New York-based actress and writer known for bringing quiet authority and sharp intelligence to both dramatic and comedic roles. With a foundation in theatre and a natural ease in front of the camera, she gravitates toward complex, grounded characters — the kind of person who commands a room without demanding it.

DeAnna trained in theatre at the University of Central Florida and has continued her studies in New York at HB Studio and UCB, with ongoing study alongside industry professionals. She performs monthly with Boogie Manja at Second City NYC and is a founding writer and performer of Better On Paper, an original digital sketch comedy group. She also works with The Cell Theatre in Manhattan and writes and directs her own short films.

With a look and presence that reads equally at home in a prestige drama or a national commercial, DeAnna is actively expanding her work in film and television.
